I was at Grand Canyon with family last week. I tried doing a standing Yoga pose next to the cliff ledge but chickened out thinking about the recent news of tourists who have fallen off the cliff…so I walked away a little embarrassed (as shown in the photo below). I sat to stretch instead, and felt so much more at ease. Fear is not aways a bad thing, it keeps us out of trouble (and possibly prevented me from tumbling down the hill). However, too much fear can hinder us from living our lives fully. If the fear of failure is holding you back from pursuing your dream job or lifestyle, then think again. Could it be possible that you are already living your “worst-case scenario,” and following your heart to do what you are really passionate about is actually attainable? Of course there must a solid plan that you can execute before taking the leap. If you truly want something awesome for yourself, you’ll find a way to work around the challenges. Believe in yourself. Trust that you have the ability to conquer whatever life throws your way.
